It’s on everyone’s mind, Coronavirus and how to survive this crisis.

Whether it’s your own or a family member’s health or how it affects your business, workers and customers.

Until we get a change in policy from the government, it’s pretty much business as normal at IT Naturally. But we are ready to act if needed.

We already had a business continuity plan in place, so we started our planning from there.

As we are a 100% cloud-based company, everyone can access anything they need to do their job from anywhere that has internet access, no-one needs paper or files to carry out their role.

Our technical teams can already work from home, and indeed do from time to time but we have now ensured that each team has the right tools to do so. Everyone will have a laptop, or desktop at home with the correct security in place. We have also established that everyone has a place at home they can work.

We have had to purchase a few more laptops for people on our service desk, or add wireless cards and VPN access to our desktops so they can be taken home too. Some of the team have supplied their own laptops and we have added the necessary software to them, and ensured they comply with our IT security requirements, (now is not the time to get a computer virus on top of the Coronavirus!)

We are following closely the government guidance and as soon as it changes we are ready to put our system in place. Whether our office has to close or our worker’s children’s schools are closed, our team can work from home, and our business can continue.

Most importantly our customers can ensure that we will continue to give them the best service we can. Naturally.
